The west-end extension of Tram Line T2 has been put on agenda, according to the Songjiang District Traffic Committee.

Starting from Sanxin Road N. Station, the west-end extension of Tram Line T2 will travel for 7,400 meters, and pass nine stations – Sanxin Road N. , Chenta Road, Dingyuan Road, Dingsong Road, Dingwen Road, Dingsheng Road, Hexi Street, Kunde Road and Xiangkun Road stations. Names of the stations are temporary.

A Xiaokunshan parking lot and five power substations will be constructed as supporting facilities.

A draft for the west-end extension plan has been published on the Songjiang government website in a bid to garner public opinion.
