Chenshan Botanical Garden in Songjiang is to unveil an international prize water lily exhibition this weekend, showcasing its collection of over 300 species from around the world.
The display space is divided into eight sections, while 20 species among the exhibits are to meet with visitors in the garden for the very first time.
People visiting the show will first be introduced to the art pieces related to the plant and then the variety of water lilies.
The water lilies are either arranged in a belt extending 600 meters in the lake or as individual highlights like those featuring their mini sizes.
Other key species include 160 kinds from tropical land and about 30 that are resistant to cold weather. Several kinds have also been awarded by the International Water Lily and Water Gardening Society.
The event is to last until the middle of next month.
