Shanghai Lixin University of Commerce has two campuses in Xuhui and Songjiang, covering about 15 hectares with a total construction area of nearly 260,000 square meters. With beautiful scenery and first-class facilities, the campuses have become ideal places for further learning. SLUC comprises 12 academic schools and departments including School of Accounting and Financial Management, School of Business Administration, School of Economics and Trade, School of Finance, School of Finance and Taxation, School of Mathematics and Information Science, School of Foreign Studies, School of Humanities and Law, International Education Center, School of Vocational Education, Department of Ideological and Political Education, Department of Physical Education, etc. The university offers 22 bachelor degree programs such as Accounting, Financial Management, Business Administration, International Economics and Trade, Finance, English etc., covering five major academic disciplines, namely Management, Economics, Science, Law and Humanities. Currently the university has a faculty number of more than 800, including about 200 with senior professional positions and about 200 with doctoral degrees. Donghua University

Donghua University (DHU), formerly China Textile University, was founded in 1951. Located in the downtown area in Shanghai and adjacent to Hongqiao Economic Development Zone, DHU is one of the key state universities directly under the Ministry of Education of China. Its feature disciplines, such as Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, International Trade, Material Science, and Information Technology have a strong reputation both domestically and abroad.
 

DHU is a multi-disciplinary university with a wide range of undergraduate and graduate degree programs across a vast field of disciplines including engineering, economics, management, literature and art, law, science, and education. It has 12 colleges and schools, offering 54 undergraduate programs, 59 master’s degree programs, 30 doctoral degree programs, and five postdoctoral research programs. Academic achievements have found applications in areas such as aeronautics, military science, new materials, architecture, and environmental protection. The number of valid patents ranks in the top 12 among Chinese colleges and universities.

There are more than 2,800 faculty and staff, and over 30,000 enrolled students at DHU. The employment rate has remained 100% for post-graduate students and over 95% for undergraduates in the past several years. So far, DHU has established cooperation with over 100 well-known oversea universities, research institutions and companies. DHU has also successfully held international conferences and forums in fields such as textiles, fashion, and materials.

 

East China University of Political Science and Law

East China University of Political Science and Law is one of the country’s first colleges of politics and law. It was established in 1952, combining the majors of law, politics and society from nine colleges and universities at that time.

The university now has two campuses, one in Changning District the other in Songjiang, with more than 21,000 combined students and 1,400 teaching staff.

 

Shanghai University of Engineering Science

Shanghai University of Engineering Science (SUES) is a widely recognized university specializing in applied technologies and engineering sciences, focusing on interdisciplinary integration of economics and management, and art design. It promotes a well-coordinated development of undergraduate, graduate and higher vocational education. SUES now boasts 16 master’s degree programs and 85 majors for undergraduates and junior college students, and is home to about 20,000 undergraduates and junior college students, and about 1,200 postgraduates.

SUES boasts both a profound academic profile and the fine tradition of working with industries and enterprises. The main campus of SUES is located in Songjiang University Town, covering an area of 80 hectares. The university currently consists of full-time 22 schools and teaching sections, possessing several state-of-the-art teaching and training bases and an array of school-level scientific research institutes including the Rail Transportation Operation Security Detection and Evaluation Service Center.

 

Shanghai University of International Business and Economics

Founded in 1960, the Shanghai University of International Business and Economics (formerly Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade) was affiliated to the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation (now the Ministry of Commerce) until September 1994. Since then it has been under the administration of the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government. In April 2013, it was granted by the Ministry of Education university status and renamed the Shanghai University of International Business and Economics (SUIBE).

SUIBE consists of 12 schools including the School of Business, School of Foreign Languages, School of Law, and School of Tourism and Event Management. SUIBE offers 32 undergraduate programs, covering five disciplines. Master degrees are conferred in four of its first-level disciplines and 28 of its second-level disciplines. SUIBE boasts a State-Level Demonstration Center for Experimental Teaching, a State-Level Zone for Experimenting Innovative Talent Development Model, and a State-Level Entrepreneurship Base for Undergraduates. Among its programs, international economy and trade, English language, finance, logistics management and business administration are designated as characteristic programs by the Ministry of Education. Among the courses SUIBE offers, financial management and international trade practices are national top-level courses; while marketing, securities investment analysis, and business logistics are national demonstration courses of bilingual teaching. The teaching team for courses related to business administration is rated as a state-level teaching team. There are over 1,000 faculty and staff members working at SUIBE and above 400 of them are professors and associate professors. More than 10,000 students are studying in the undergraduate and graduate programs along with about 2,000 international students in various programs.
